We are completely lost inside The Measure by Nikki Erlick and honestly, we are not sure we ever want to find our way out. If you have not heard of this one yet, let us catch you up.

One morning, every person on earth who has reached the age of 22 wakes up to find a small wooden box on their doorstep. Inside is a string, and that string holds the measure of your life. Some are long. Some are short. And nobody asked for any of it.

What would you do? Would you open it? Could you resist? And what would knowing actually change?

This book is the kind of story that burrows into your chest and just lives there. It asks the biggest questions about love, fate, fear, and what it truly means to live fully when you suddenly think you know how much time you have left. The characters feel so deeply real, and the way Nikki Erlick weaves their stories together is nothing short of masterful.

We have a feeling this one is going to stick with us for a long, long time.
